The first item on the menu above proceeds directly to the division operation.
The leftmost thumbnail below leads to a new page describing that screen.
The other two items on this screen are data items. The first is the number by which a full spindle revolution will be divided while the second specifies the rotation direction of the input shaft of the dividing head. When the "Divisions:" item is selected, a data editing screen is presented allowing the operator to enter the desired number of divisions. No image of that screen is presented here but an example data editing screen is given elsewhere in the menu hierarchy. When the "Direction:" item is selected, the direction indicator cycles among the valid values: CW and CCW. |
