Indexing/Dividing Head Controller

Stepper Voltage Setup Menu

The first menu item allows the specification of the operating voltage of the stepper motor.

The second menu item allows the specification of a reduced voltage level, as a percentage of the operating voltage, for holding the motor position after a motion sequence is completed. Reducing the motor voltage will reduce the amount of head generated in the motor driver and the motor itself. A typical reduction value is 50%.

The third menu item allows you to specify whether the motor will be energized, at the reduced voltage level, immediately after the system starts up.
