The first menu item allows the specification of the reduction gearing of the indexing head.
It is specified as the number of input turns required to turn the spindle one full revolution.
The second menu item is used for backlash removal. Whenever the input shaft is turned clockwise, no backlash removal is required. However, if the spindle moves counter-clockwise, it is moved the required amount, then the input shaft is moved an additional amount specified, in degrees, by the second parameter and then the input shaft is turned clockwise by the same amount to arrive at the final position. |
